CSSANZ Media Award



We are pleased to announce the 2021 winner of the CSSANZ Media Award is 'The Bottom Line' podcast, hosted by Stephanie Bansemer-Brown.  We thank all the applicants who are doing their bit for helping increase public awareness around bowel cancer education and early detection.

CSSANZ offers an annual Media Prize to be awarded for a published article, television documentary (or segment), podcast, radio interview or other media format, considered by the Media and Public Relations Committee of the CSSANZ to be of optimal benefit in terms of helpful information and reach to patients and public in that year.  

The award aims to recognise the important role the media can play in raising public awareness of the spectrum of colorectal disease, and the impact these conditions can have on patients.  

The Prize consists of a commemorative plaque and a cash award ($1000) from the CSSANZ. To be considered for this award, notification must be made to the CSSANZ Office, (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) with evidence of the published articles by Monday 1st August 2022 (no specific application form is required).  

Please note the Award was withheld in 2019 and 2020.
